High Peak Bookstore And Cafe - Buxton - Photo album

What a great bookshop! Very reasonable prices too! Had all your usual categories and set out a bit like a library. Loved the kids/educational area. As well as books there were gifts and jewellery. Again not over the top prices. The toilets are fitted with a smaller toilet for the little one. Each o
Loved it! We went for a little break during our holidays and came back the next day for the breakfast as we were dying to try it. The hot chocolate is amazing and you can choose either white, milk or dark chocolate 💙 the breakfast was great too with good quality products and good portions. Load of b
I had a lovely time amidst the vast amount of books. Loads of choice and great prices. I also managed to get a good book from the local authors shelves. The kids section was well stocked with some toys and dress up too. There is also a great range of local artisan crafts, from jewellery, soaps/sme

We were driving past when I saw the sign for the bookstore and shrieked at my family member who was driving to turn around - I’m so glad we did! It’s a lovely independent bookstore with a few gems. The prices are excellent- approx £3-£5 for paperbacks, and £6-10 for hardbacks. From a look at their
Review update September 2023.... This place is still as good as it always was. !! What a treasure of a place this is. From the outside it looks like an industrial building, but don't be fooled, it's quite a gem inside.. Quite far from your old school dusty book room, this is a modern organised rang
