Found this pub 2years ago and yesterday went to visit my cousin at Leek& then made a cross country journey to get back home purposely to revisit & eat at this lovely pub & BTW we were not disappointed, a nice couple of relaxed hours eating and resting made a very enjoyable break ,good size meals ,our waitress supplied a box for some food my wife couldn't manage but too nice to leave.

Went out with 8 people for lunch. The service was great and everyone really enjoyed the carvery provided definitely the best one we've had in a while. Definitely would recommend to go there for Sunday lunch or any other day as the menu looked really nice

Really convenient location, great choice on menu, friendly staff and good quality food. Our group all ordered different dishes and really enjoyed them.
Got really busy while we were there so maybe best to book a table at peak times.

Called for lunch whilst here on holiday. Very warm welcome from lovely staff, doggies also made very welcome. Nice food and good beer.

Excellent weekly pub quiz with an entertaining host. Friendly manager that isn't afraid to mix with the locals. All together great atmosphere! The mixed grill and gammon very tasty and drinks are also well priced.

Our dog was also made exceptionaly welcome and received a lot of attention from the staff

We only had drinks. The food looked OK, it was clean, the team were pleasant and knew what they were doing. I'd be happy to go back again and try the food next time we're in Buxton.

I went here for Sunday lunch with 11 of my girlfriends whilst we were staying in buxton for the weekend celebrating my 60th birthday. We were greeted and seated by a member of staff, only sorry I didn't get his name as he was absolutely delightful. Really friendly and helpful and extremely patient taking our orders and aware of allergies and really knowledgeable.
Lovely friendly pub good food and great menu.
Definitely recommend and will be revisiting 🥰👍👌
