Looooove this place! Not only is there a decent selection of gins and beer - the service and the staff are superb, its great to enjoy some really good customer service. The bar itself looks lovely and cosy too. Its already a regular spot with my friends :)

Where to begin: brilliant staff, incredibly tasty food, stunning drinks menu! Been there every night of our week's holiday as it is clearly the finest place in Buxton!

We came here for a couple of drinks and a pizza. The food menu is quite limited to just pizza but don't let that deter you as the pizzas are fantastic! So tasty and full of flavour with just the right amount of toppings. We went for the Margherita and definitely recommend it. Such a good price too. They have a large selection of beers which are displayed on the big screen over the bar. The staff are very knowledgeable about these beers and made some good recommendations. My partner told me she enjoyed the Picpoul white wine that she went for, so there are nice drinks for those who aren't into beer. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Highly recommend coming here!

Great pub outlet for the Red Willow brewery. Wide choice of beers, ales, ciders, even some wine. You'll really want to try the beers though. Comfortable, cosy, friendly helpful staff. Beer and wine flights available so that you can do your own taste testing.

Situated in a former bank building, this bar is simply fabulous, It features one good sized room on the ground floor with a small seated mezzanine area on the first floor level. The toilets are on the ground floor & on the date of inspection were spotless. This place has great beers, both on cask & micro keg. If you're not familiar with Red Willow brewery, they are well worth a try & im confident you wont be disappointed. They have beers to suit most tastes here. It can get very busy at times, especially in the evenings (Friday & Saturday) if you like a quiet drink & conversation I recommend visiting on a Wed or Thurs when they first open (@4pm) as it does have a habit of filling up quickly. To summerise, I highly recommended this place.

Great craft beer pub and cocktails, which has to be an underrated and under used combo. Great layout in old bank. Inexplicably quite when a were there. If I was local I'd be a regular.

Great range of beers from Redwillow and some guest beers. Handy for the railway station, and a good range of cans in the fridge as well.

Get little place we struggled to get a table on a Saturday night (very popular) but the beer selection was amazing and very nice interior. The atmosphere was great, highly recommend!

This is typical of what I am looking for with cask real beer which I am told is brewed in the pub. Very good taste from the Hand pumps which are rare to see back in Germany.

Nice bar with some original features from the former bank. Good selection of cask and keg from redwillow along with a few guest beers. The pizza is good too, works well with the beers on offer.

Thursday 5th January 2023 1800-1900hrs I'm doing this review as Claire and I sit and enjoy our second ale! We were here about three years ago but I don't think I did a review. This place has it's own brewery and I can't express enough, as CAMRA members, the hand-pulled traditional ales are immense . . Sooo fresh and tasty!! 😋 This bar has really friendly and helpful staff and the overall experience of this old converted bank, is a place to visit, not just if you're in Buxton but if you're anywhere!!! . . . It's a must!!! Nigel and Claire 😊
