Lovely little ale house in Buxton. Cask Marque certificate available to scan. Very pleasant young lady on the bar. Very well turned out pub. Very much enjoyed my pint. Thumbs up 👍
Popped in for a quick lunch. Nice pub menu and great to see the option of the (actually generously sized) smaller portions. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back.
Great local pub in the centre. Friendly landlord who knows how to keep customers happy. Great homemade food. Highly recommend.
Good freindly staff and equally good pint. Previous occupant of tables dishes not cleared away. Otherwise, cant fault it.
Great signage.
Friendly service, great pint, 👍🏼, definitely worth a return visit!
When we arrived after travelling for hours, we were cold and hungry, they prepared us a lovely meal.
The two girls were lovely and very friendly.
From the outside it looks like a locals' serious drinkers pub, and that might be part of its culture, but once in it was very friendly and welcoming, bright and shiny with lovely polished floors and plenty of tables and chairs, and more relaxing seating to chill out on. . It was a late Thursday afternoon so not very busy, but the ones clustered round the bar were very friendly, as were the staff. The landlady came over and we had a long conversation. Dog friendly, and serve food as well, (do a sunday roast), though we didn't eat. All in all, a lovely pub.
Best pulled pork I've ever had
I had a lovely Roast beef Sunday lunch the girl behind the bar was really polite I certainly will ne here again ( And sorry I didn't get your name)
Thursday kareoke night brilliant atmosphere, very welcoming staff and locals
