The Green

Popped in here whilst travelling through the area because there was a sign outside that they were dog friendly, had such a great experience that we will now be using this place as a destination in future. Lots of lovely little touches that made our visit great, such as being seated and our dog immediately being given a bowl of water. Then when out drinks were brought out they also brought out a bowl of chicken for our four legged best friend (they checked first) When we settled the bill, we were pleasantly surprised with low the bill was - less than £15 for two drinks, two cakes and a bowl of chicken for the dog! Everybody who worked there was smiling and a pleasure to speak with. If you're thinking of visiting this place, please do! Terrific little gem. Great place to eat fresh food, great service and very pleasant. Our server was great but did not get the chance to thank her except by tip. Locals friendly and talkative. The cakes were enjoyable by the children. I loved the IPA. It is also dog friendly. Thank you and see you again.
