Just had 2 haddock and chips peas and curry and it was fantastic crispy batter good size fish chips great loved it 👍

Visited on day one of our holiday.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately no staff available for the upstairs service, was informed that since covid staffing has been limited.
Anyhow was served two large chips one with curry sauce and two regular and two kids meals came to £42 payed extra to sit upstairs. Food was hot and tasty.
Can't mark up for atmosphere because we was alone upstairs.
Staff was lovely and inviting hense good marks for the service.

Fish and chips are wonderful. Dine-in closed 4pm, not good. Sat outside, disgusting kids gobbin on street, moved on to square.

Would strongly recommend the chips from here as they are amazing. Order was nice & hot, friendly service. Cash only, parking just near the castle 5 minutes walk away.

Went to the chippy today and was served by a kind and respectful gentleman called Gethin. He gave me the freshest sausage and chips I’ve ever had in my life. He gave me a perfect amount of salt and vinegar on the food and I walked out smiling from ear to ear. I was in and out of the shop within 2 minutes he was that fast at his job while still maintaining a professional and positive attitude. Will be coming here again every day as long as this young man is working here.

We travelled to Wales from Berlin and wanted to show the kids fish and chips. J&C was a welcome break after touring the awesome castle. The young lady serving us was delightfully patient with a stressed German dad and the food was just what we needed. Very nice indeed.

Very good freshly cooked chips were lovely and crisp. Wouldn't normally have eaten a pie, but not had a steak and kidney pie for years, and they looked appetising. Not bad, but they had been left too long in the warmer.
