Absolutely lovely. Served locally brewed craft ale at pretty low prices. Let us sample them first. Food was tasty and very reasonably priced. Staff was friendly.
Obviously, being a Spoons, it lacked much atmosphere. But, hey! Cheap, cheerful and pretty tasty. What's not to love??
3 adults, 3 older children visited for a meal. The table was cleaned as we arrived and staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delivered swiftly and all tasted lovely and hot.
No car park, but we found on street parking close by. We didn't sit outside, but the rear outdoor seating area looked fab.
Between this and the spoons in Banger, we would definitely return here!
The Caernafon Wetherspoons, this one has a large outdoor seating area, which would be lovely at this time of year.
There is a pay car park just around the corner.
It's well adorned with the Welsh dragon in the main table area.
Like most Wetherspoons, this one has quite a few prints and a few lithographs showing aspects of the local area.
Usual "Wetherspoons" Vibe, Rugby on TV inside which the whole pub were watching so I sat in the nice big garden (as it was not a match I was following). Food was very nice, hot and arrived in about 5 - 10 minutes. Me & my Mrs, 3 plates for £14.93 + a large red wine and a soft drink. £20 all in. You can't beat that, we were stuffed!! (Those 1 star people are right misery guts - if you want "Gourmet" food and a "wine waiter" go elsewhere and pay loads more).
Good spoons! Even the toilets was decent! Just mind the step in the gents... Good value Good service was brilliant seeing strongbow back on the menu! Hope it stays!! 🙏 👍
Have to leave an excellent review for the food and service provided by the staff today. We visit Wetherspoons quiet often, but today its was very busy with various local activities taking place. We made online orders for food and drink, and although extremely busy, our order arrived within minutes - food of good quality & hot, drinks served almost immediately. Faultless service from staff (and check to see that we were happy). Well done to all on shift (between 3-7pm Sat 30/9) 👍 👏. Thank you x

We had an American style burger, and small all-day brunch. We enjoyed our meals! They came out about 10 mins after we ordered using the app, which we thought was good timing! Plus great prices for pints as usual.
The staff are very friendly as well. One of the servers actually followed us to the table after I had gone over to request some napkins to stabilise the legs. He was very helpful!
I visit Tafarn y Borth on a regular basis, where the atmosphere is congenial, where the staff, in the past, were welcoming and friendly. Especially in the mornings, when I attend, the venue, but recently there has been a reduction of the staff that are on duty during the morning shift, therefore service, to the customers is very slow, and some of the staff, have other things on their minds, rather than serving the customers.
Arrived at the venue and it is currently undergoing building work. Used the Wetherspoons App to order and service very efficient. Staff polite and couldn't do enough. The food for the price point was very good. Served food all day which is bonus as all the nearby venues stopped serving by 3pm.
