Popped in for food with a friend on a quiet midweek in October - very well looked after and the food was excellent. Would recommend to anyone.

Really good home cooked food. Hot, fresh, tasty with good quality ingredients.
The place isn't fine dining and linen table cloths but it is absolutely worth a visit - the atmosphere is nice, not too loud - you can easily talk to each other - the service was great.
I think what I liked most was ... the meal feels 'honest' - the presentation is nice enough but you really get the impression that real effort has gone into the food - someone really likes cooking and they are good at it. We will definitely visit again.

Had dinner while staying upstairs. Tasty, fresh food and warm, friendly ambiance. Especially good was cod, feta walnut salad and lamb kofta. Definitely will be back!!

The Welsh tapas is fantastic, great food and beer! As the locals say in Caernarfon: when in Caernarfon, go to Ty Castell... or Thai Castle? One or the other.

Excellent Welsh tapas, that are so flavorful and yummy. Loved what we ate including the celeric and mushroom, the lamb sausages, and brie and mango filo parcels, all of which were phenomenal.
The Welsh rarebit was good, a bit too cheesy, but I think that's how rarebit is supposed to taste.
The atmosphere was great, and a real glimpse of local Caenarfon, at least it seemed that way to me.
Definitely would recommend. The place deserves a Michelin bib gourmand, at the least.

Cozy and cleaned room in the centre of the small town! Very friendly staff! It can be loud at night because of the pub nearby. Unfortunately there was not breakfast available because of the holidays and room/towel cleaning service wasn’t provided during those days, it may be due to New Year’s Eve holidays period.
