Brilliant pub. Just love it. Don't do food apart from rolls and bar snacks but thats just fine.

great pub, friendly with a warm welcome, the beer is second to none & not overpriced like most pubs. the views outside are pretty stunning too, would be nice to sit outside with a pint of the finest & just watch the world go by! oh, and its dog friendly!!

If you want an old fashioned country pub with a warm welcome and the finest beers at cheap prices, then this is the place for you. This is the best pub around by a country mile. Mair is a brilliant landlady and knows more about beer than 99.9% of publicans. Pubs like this are a dying breed so please consider giving it your support. Diolch.

Fantastic place and Mair was such good company. She was friendly, funny and knowledgeable about walking in the area. Loved the pub and Anstel lager. Thanks so much for a lovely time! 😍 xx From the terrible twins. Xx

A lovely, old fashioned country pub with very friendly customers and a landlady that you would want to make this place your 'local'....pity I live in Kent!!
