We booked here after reading the great reviews -our first visit, I had no problem ringing up and reserving our table.

Faultless everytime I visit which is at least once a week, usually for a spot of lunch. Generally I'm a fan of the Sandwich / Baguettes and the Smaller Plates menus, good selection and portions are extremely generous and of excellent value.
First time I have been here for food and was very pleasantly surprised. Proper pub food, none of this microwave rubbish, but proper cooked food. Mixed grill, lasagne and hunters chicken. Desserts were apple and blackberry crumble and a jam sponge with custard. Everything was absolutely stunning, 15
I really can't fault this place. The food is always top notch and the staff are friendly,attentive and always immaculately turned out. The pub is spotlessly clean, especially the toilets. The Church Inn and its staff are a credit to the liscensees. This is how a pub should be run. The only downside
Didn't book for Sunday lunch but the staff still managed to squeeze me and my partner in for a lovely dinner. Great service... thank you 😊
Recommended by a friend, very impressed particularly by the food, but also the friendly service. I had the steak and stout pie which was quality, from the delicious filling to the lovely flaky pastry.
First time here for Sunday dinner , highly recommended. Food was fantastic, the meat melted in your mouth and the vegetables where very fresh and plentiful.
Really lovely curry at this pub. Staff and bar staff made us feel so welcome. Everyone enjoyed their food and the beer tasted so fresh and clean. Will definitely be back. Really lovely evening.

Absolutely brilliant meal after a 10 hour drive down from Aberdeen. Enthusiastic welcoming staff and the atmosphere was full of fun.
Too many people, were a minority ie 2 people, staff in thier droves not given menu's, not asked for our order. My wifes Hunters chicken poor, my sirloin perfect. Poor Parking. Been there done it.

They have excellent food here you need to book as busy but highly recommend ive had several meals here all different and couldn't fault any recommend the steak you cook it to your liking on hot stone its amazing and so tasty 😋 deffo 5stars

Popped in on Sunday for a quick drink and a plate of chips with the kids. Plenty of space in the beer garden and dog friendly. Friendly staff. Looks very popular for Sunday roast!
