Great pub. Nice range of ales, friendly staff, great atmosphere, large sports screens and good sound. Dog friendly. Only reason I didn't give it 5* was no food apart from crisps. Even a couple of items such as cheese or ham sandwiches or toasties would make a big difference. Or even easier pasties/pies in the microwave.
Visited this sports orientated pub twice whilst staying at a camping music festival near by. Like most sports bars, 'don't talk whilst the football is showing'.
Only one real ale on tap and doesn't change. It is kept and served well, congratulations to the cellar person.
The pub is clean, good friendly service and is dog friendly also had a reasonable paved garden area.
To sum up, pleasant visits and will certainly return some day.
Cracking place, kept well, good selection of drinks at reasonable prices and friendly staff. Lovely beer garden, too.
