Lovely pub/ restaurant in a cute little village. Me and my partner stayed at the campsite a 3 minute walk from this pub we dined there the first night the food and service was great so we decided to go back the second night. Compliments to the chef.
Our party of 9 adults, 2 children and 3 dogs have just enjoyed an amazing Sunday lunch at the Oddfellows.
The beef was a tasty melt in your mouth experience and the chicken was tender and delicious. The children were treated to smaller portions of the main meals. Everything was piping hot and quickly served at the same time tor a large group.
The bar serves an excellent selection of cask ales and keg beers with an extensive wine list.
The dining areas are tastefully decorated and very comfortable.
A special mention for the friendly staff who ensured our visit was memorable.
Well done to all concerned.
Cozy pub in a quiet village on Cumbria Way. We had a nice room with a good hot shower. Not many veggie options but the toasted goat's cheese salad was delicious. Breakfast was fine but served quite late and fairly basic continental options.
Wonderful welcome as we arrived dripping wet off the Cumbria Way hike. Room was lovely, the beer superb, and the evening meal was excellent.
After a restful night's sleep we were served a very nice breakfast too.
100% recommended!
We popped in for a meal as we were in the village for the Potato Day. We were taken with the place as soon as we walked in. Emma and her team were marvellous and I couldn't fault them. As for the food, the beef we had was perfect.
We will definitely be going back there and would recommend it to anyone

We have been here a couple of times whilst staying at Wallace Lane Farm. It never disappoints. This time there were four of us - three of which opted for the fish and chips - WHICH WAS EPIC. Great pub and would absolutely recommend. 👍👍👍
Went for Suday lunch, large group of 9, we booked a table, we were late (15 mins) but were still greeted pleasantly and served quickly. Food was amazing, couldn't fault it. One of the best Sunday dinners I have had, would've liked a little more on the plate but other than that faultless.
One of the best pubs in the area, great atmosphere, food, and service. Very dog friendly in the bar (where you can eat) and a non-dog dining room too - best of both worlds. The bar is always humming with activity and it is so welcoming. The food is always amazing and ranges from standard pub food to some really interesting dishes that spice things up a bit for those looking for something different
