Always the best beer you have ever tried - and I would certainly recommend The Plough if, by any chance, you have never tried beer!
Food always excellent.
I particularly love the slightly-retro-but-in-a-totally -honest-way decor.
This must be the best village pub we have ever visited, for location, food 🍲 and drink I'll be amazed if they haven't won awards. It was if you had been invited round for dinner and been waited on hand and foot. It was an absolute pleasure to have visited your establishment.
We found this lovely pub on a detour from a wasted trip to Leicester, this was an absolute gem to find,the food was perfectly cooked & plenty of it, everywhere spotlessly clean added to a very pleasant meal & very relaxing atmosphere,it's quite a way from our home but will definitly find an excuse to visit again & thank you also to the very nice bar staff & waitress.
We’ve eaten here several times when staying at the campsite down the road. Both on an evening & also Sunday lunches. Gene & Debbie are lovely & friendly and the food is always superb with great portions. They also do Bad Apple cider👍🏻It’s a proper cosy village pub like they used to be. Booking recommended as they are only small but popular. They are also dog friendly.

Had Sunday lunch here with my family just before Xmas, the staff couldn't of been more helpful, really good atmosphere, food was amazing and very reasonable prices, looking forward to our next visit.
Popped in for a quick pint. Really busy.
