We had a nostalgic visit back here for our 14th wedding Anniversary. We still remember our fantastic day here at Roman Camp for our wedding which was the most beautiful day. The staff are still as attentive and friendly and the place has t changed a bit which I was so happy about. The open fires and candles add to the ambiance. I can’t recommend it enough, wonderful, beautiful stunning place.
I can't express how much I love this place and how much it will always mean to me and hubby. We had the best day getting married here and from start to finish it was just beautiful and perfect. Thanks to all the amazing staff and the owners for what they done and for joining in on our special day. Everyone that I have seen has said ach what a place that was amazing memories made here and would recommend to anybody, if you want a perfect family wedding do it at the Roman Camp! Thanks again it was simply stunning
Outstanding food in a relaxed, comfortable setting. Located within the tranquil grounds of the hotel. Just a short walk from the River Teith, it's the perfect spot for a post-dinner stroll. Delight your friends & family with a visit to Roman Camp Bistro - I'm happy I did 😋

Excellent bistro. Indoor and outdoor (covered) areas. Narrow menu of standard fare done perfectly.
Very romantic setting and delicious food. Not too expensive and good value for what we had. A beautiful setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Full marks here - well, 4 stars as I never give 5 (we can all improve after all).
Friendly staff, good choice of drinks and food, good cooking which was very tasty and all for a reasonable price.
If in Callander pop in; you won't be disappointed, but remember, if you're going for dinner, book in advance!
We just had coffee and cake so cannot comment on the menu.Lovely place with an old charm and warm.Coffee was nice but the cup was a bit small for the price. The carrot cake was delicious and a good price.Service was good.It was quiet when we were there late afternoon.Decor old worldly and outside seating would be gorgeous in the summer.
Lovely setting in beautifully manicured grounds of Roman Camp hotel (pictured)
Thoroughly recommended, driven past so often so finally went in - very pleasantly surprised.
Nice glass of wine and I had a confit duck with lightly sliced lentils - delicious.
Food was delicious and presented very well, customer service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant on the indoor/outdoor covered seating even during a small Scottish shower.
Lovely meal in the old potting shed. Wife had a very good mushroom risotto and my lamb was cooked perfectly.
Great place, food was excellent , as was the service
