Chinese Village

Yes, went for carry out (it's upstairs in the restaurant): there were two ladies in front of me ordering and a middle aged women came over and asked me my order which I began, when...lo! the phone rang whereupon I was ignored and the call answered. At least she then directed me to the other member of staff. I had made the actual effort to go to the premises but was promptly disrespected and ignored for persons unknown out in the wild. Smaller portions and increased price over what I normally pay in the town means the food is about double the cost (£22.95 for one special curry with boiled rice and one beef curry with fried rice). It was served in good time and tasty.

We had a takeaway recently from the Chinese Village in Callander. We ordered the 8 inch salt and pepper box which contained chicken balls, salt and pepper chicken, spare ribs, spring rolls, salt and pepper chips and sweet and sour sauce. This was very tasty. We also ordered chicken satay on skewers, chicken noodle soup and crispy seaweed. We ate it all and I would recommend this Chinese restaurant if you ever visit Callander. It fed 3 of us for £27 which I thought was good value for money.
