Thanks for providing a very warm welcome. I ordered a pint whilst checking in - you can't do that in a 'chain' hotel. Alex had a charming personality and a lovely smile - you don't get that in a 'chain' hotel. Room (Plum) very comfortable and clean. Restaurant service and food above expectation and a great choice of beers. Thanks for contributing to an enjoyable experience
So we finally got to go here in May this year when we had just got married. We had a fantastic meal and a complimentary cheese board that was divine! I meant to do a review and forgot totally….we went back Saturday and this time I just had to do a review! The service is friendly and the waiting staff are lovely. The food is exceptionally good, I had pork loin with a cream sauce and the hubby had fish and chips. Both weee cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious! We had waffles and clafoutis for desert which was mind blowing! Love this place and it’s not expensive. If you haven’t been yet GO NOW lol it’s delicious! Five stars all the way
Came for a meal the other day, then sat for a few drinks in their patio (including their cocktail-spiked peach punch). From start to finish i had the best experience, Excellent food, excellent drinks, good value for money, amazing atmosphere and faultless staff.I have truly found my new favourite spot, and plan on returning when they have pizzas back on! I definitely recommend if your in the local area, definitely better than places in and around bewdley!
The building is historic and very cute, the food is absolutely brilliant (there are veg and gf options available). The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I asked for balloons in the table for when we had dinner at the restaurant, as it was my boyfriend's 40th birthday, and they also gave us an unexpected desert with candles and a happy birthday song.
It was very kind of them.
The rooms are clean, the bed and pillows are confy.
The area is beautiful and peaceful. It's only 10 min from the safari park. You can notice the caring in every detail. There is a book to the guests to leave their messages.

Room was decent for the price. However we were advised breakfast starts at 8am. We went down for this time and set off the bar alarm as nobody was there. Would be a 5 star review however they were still setting up at 8.15 when they finally arrived and we had a train to catch so missed breakfast. But a decent budget hotel stay.
We came for Sunday lunch to celebrate a family birthday.
We had the carvery boards, we had 1 chicken, 1 pork and 1 beef.
All cooked to perfection it came out nice and hot with a Good selection of vegetables. The service was nice and quick and staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu is a little more expensive than some places but still worth it and good value for money. Overall a great experience. We will definitely be back again.
We booked this hotel based on the food reviews I had seen. We were not let down. 5* for the food (both dinner and breakfast). Room was cosy and bath was big and wide with a good shower too!

Lovely pub and fantastic food. It wasn't too busy on the Saturday afternoon that I visited, the table service could be improved though. Still a nice place, lovely food and visit.

Wonderful pub! Stopped in for a pint and chips on a Sunday. Great atmosphere, staff helpful and friendly, they had live music and the food was really tasty 👌
