Only been to the talbot inn in calne twice both times they were very busy . Even so the staff were very efficient & friendly. They have live music most weeks i gather which are very popular evenings.

Friendly staff, quick service and a smile always a great start. Lots of great bands play here so definitely worth a visit. Layout is my only issue as when band is on and everyone is dancing you have people trying to get to and from bar and you end up covered in drinks.

Went to The Talbot yesterday (Sunday), late afternoon and was quite busy. Same happy staff, good Heineken and the pool table, as always good to play on and only 50p per game!
Lots of onsite parking, even for my big van!
There's also a good sized garden with many benches.

Went for dinner with my Partner, had the local sausage and mash. Mash was lumpy, but can't remove any stars for it because the service was too good. Very friendly and attentive. Good measures for Covid in place, but in a way that still makes you feel relaxed.
