Springwater

I've been going to Springwater for years as they're all you can eat buffet is the perfect family treat but I've noticed that the food quality is wavering a little... The restaurant still retains that old style feel with linen table clothes and huge tables for big family events and you can tell when you walk inside there's always a celebration taking place. Our group have been attending at least once a year for about 10yrs now and recently we've noticed the quality of the meat isn't what it used to be. I can't really argue for the price of £25 per head but we rarely get to the main courses as we like to fill on starters. The starters have more vegetarian options and variation so they're our staple. Soft drinks are £4.80 for a coke and whilst I appreciate they make their money on drinks, it's a huge price for one soft drink! I'd still recommend this place for large family events but the price isn't looking as attractive as it used to and that's a shame.

I absolutely love the food here, but I'd rather go when there isn't 100 birthdays at the same time! It can be very very busy but the service is always brilliant as is the food! I do think drinks are crazily expensive and having to pay adult prices for children over 12 would be fine if my children would eat anything other than rice.

Was a nice place, really good food with a huge selection to try, was a fixed price for all you can eat. Have to spend a minimum of £10 at the bar to use card though, which, when only wanting to buy two drinks was irritating. The only down side was the atmosphere which I understand Springwater can't control, but many chavs shouting 'oi blud this food is bangin' or some other nonsense was not a highlight.

Love spring water! Well worth the money! It is amazing quality food, the service is second to none! We had 4 adults and a 3 year old. They couldn't do more for us, all so polite, really lovely staff. Food came out fast and hot. Has all you could ask for and more! We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
