We married here last year and the venue and staff were perfect. It’s always a worry when choosing a wedding venue but based on our experience I would recommend cockliffe house to all. The staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful and really entered into the spirit of the day. The food was beautiful and served with style, our rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast the next day lovely. We had originally arranged drinks outside but the weather didn’t play ball and things were moved indoors and out seamlessly. Thank you for such a wonderful day!

We had our wedding here last month and I cannot sing their praises enough! From the initial walk around, to the actual day itself we cannot fault it. I sent a few questions over in the week running up to the wedding and all where sorted quickly. The food was amazing, even better than on the tasting evening that we went to a few months before. The accommodation was just perfect and the room where we got married was so lovely, with views out on to the pretty gardens. We had a guest list of 52 and it felt just right size wise for everyone. Not too big or too small. All our guests were made to feel welcome and I felt we were in capable hands with the staff. I would like to give an extra shout out to Sasha who we liaised with via zoom in the weeks before the wedding. She was amazing!! Truly great at her job, she personally made me feel at ease and when I realised I had a make up mark on my dress, she took care of it and I really felt that all would be fine ( and it was ) She checked in on me and the bridesmaids, brought us drinks, etc and explained what was happening and when. THANK YOU SO MUCH SASHA!!! I would really recommend Cockcliffe as a venue. I just wish we could do the whole day over again!

We held our wedding at Cockliffe Country House in June this year and would highly recommend the venue. Andrea and her team were really friendly, helpful and professional and communication was good from first booking in 2018, through 2 Covid delays until the day finally came. They looked after the little things as well as the big ones and helped our day run really smoothly. The food was great and the accommodation was also very spacious and comfortable. The venue benefits from great indoor and outdoor space and had everything we needed

We absolutely give Cockliffe Country House five stars. We got married here in September and we couldn't have felt more looked after by the team. We mainly dealt with Andrea and Sacha and they were both extremely easy to deal with and couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy with arrangements made. The main room is beautiful and was perfect for the ceremony and the reception. There is a lovely outside space where we very much enjoyed time after the ceremony. We had a wonderful day and we really think it was the staff as well as the venue that helped make that happen.

My wife and I got married on 29/07/2022 and have to say that if you’re thinking about getting married here, do it! Sacha took over our event half way through planning but did an absolutely sterling job. Our day went perfectly (the garden/grounds is perfect for an acoustic set for guest arrival). The staff were all brilliant on the day and the food was amazing. Lots of our guests (some of whom have been to lots of weddings) said that the food was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. They were right - the food was piping hot for everyone (staggered table by table service was the key) and cooked perfectly.

We cannot say thank you enough to Cockliffe for giving us the best day ever for our wedding. The Team were supportive, professional, responsive and knowledgeable right from the beginning of the process, which we really appreciated as we didn't know where to start when it comes to planning a wedding! They were happy to hold our hand throughout the whole process. The day itself was absolutely flawless, with staff sorting out things that we had not even thought about, getting things done behind the scenes and solving any problems that arose before we even knew there was an issue. The food was delicious, all our guests have commented on how wonderful the food was, from the three course wedding breakfast to the evening buffet and the breakfast served the morning after. But the staff are what make this place, they are superb. It was like having your wedding organised and run by friends - they were so kind, so friendly and so helpful but make no mistake, these people are professionals and know what they are doing. When the night came to an end, the Cockliffe staff packed up all our things while we went to bed and in the morning it had all been carefully stored in the reception area for us to collect and load into the car. I am aware that we were the fifth wedding they had back-to-back that week, with more after us in the following days but you wouldn't know it with the warmth, support and enthusiasm they showed us for our wedding. All the staff, without exception, those behind the bar, those serving food, Sam & Dan in the horse cart and those cleaning up were superb. Special thanks go to Sacha, Kate and Demi, three of the warmest, calmest and most professional people we have ever met. The venue speaks for itself, it is gorgeous and comfortable. So thank you again Cockliffe for giving us, our family and our friends the best day ever.

We came for a wedding and were blown away with the service, attention to detail and venue itself. Food was great and the well kept cigars were a great addition. Zak was a great addition to the team and top barman. The wedding coordinator (forgot her name) went above and beyond. If I had to criticise 1 thing it was the 6 remortgages I had to take throughout the day to buy drinks.

Wow what a fantastic venue for a wedding. We as a family can’t thank you enough for all you did to make it a very special day. Nothing was too much trouble and the day was simply perfect. The room looked amazing, the food excellent and plentiful. DJ was great and you accommodated our band with ease.

Had our beautiful wedding day here last month and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The staff were so professional, helpful, friendly and prepared for everything… we didn’t have to worry about a thing! All of the rooms had new carpets and were newly decorated and looked even nicer than when we first visited. The grounds were just lovely for our outdoor games and photo opportunities. Loved the layout of the venue with lots of different sections to make use of as well as lots of outdoor space. Ceremony room was beautiful and intimate. Food was exceptional. We had several comments from guests saying it’s the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Location was spot on with easy transport links and not too far out of Nottingham. Plenty of parking available and rooms for guests all with en suite. Would definitely recommend this as a venue for your wedding if you’re looking.
