We had dinner here on Friday night as we were staying locally. We felt we had really lucked out! The setting was lovely and cosy with a fire going. Friendly staff who welcomed our dog and an excellent meal. We loved that there were local English sparkling wines on the menu and would not hesitate to come back for another meal!
We had the nicest meal here. Compliments to chef! Still thinking about the homemade apple pie and creme anglais. All homemade and lovingly presented. Service was excellent - dealt with all dietary needs of our group of 5. Warm vibe and nice cosy lighting in pub. Thank you.

The place is good but overpriced, I had a sea bream which I found to salty, my partner had fish and chips. The menu is very well written but the food on the plate haven't meet my expectations. For the price they charge I would expect a lot better meal. The service there is very good.
Booking system is non existent but we were told that there were issues with BT and wifi etc so sometimes happens.

Lovely place, nice cosy rooms, lovely friendly staff, and the food...wow! Just, wow! Me and my wife had a night there for our anniversary recently and will most definitely be going back!
