Pleased with lunch today. It was very busy but we still found a table. There were lots of staff members present delivering food and clearing tables. Despite a large crowd we did not have to wait too long for our drinks and food. I had the Gingerbread Shake and the Halloumi Burger.

When i asked for thr rable to be cleaned as we had sat at a dirty table. The server was defensive and rude, never came and cleaned the table. Asked another member of staff, who used a cloth with no cleaner and just rubbed one area of the table and walked off. Hygiene of tables poor.
Lovely breakfast, great price. Nice to get a proper pot of tea. Menu is quite comprehensive so lots of choice. Large airy space so you don't feel crowded. Friendly and helpful staff.

I'm totally shocked to have heard the manager/ supervisor of the cafe today shout at a member of staff in front of customers. The guy clearly has learning difficulties but it was embarrassing to watch . Totally unnecessary . She should hsIf that's how she treats her staff god forbid what she thinks about the customers .
