Motorcycle meet. Lovely weather. The food was cheap and high quality. Atmosphere rather chain pub. Hungry horse ish. Staff pleasant. Worth popping in if you're passing.
A fairly decent local in an otherwise unremarkable modern town—both Great and Lower Cambourne are new estates only interrupted thankfully by lots of green spaces. The service was friendly, the premises were relatively clean, the ale was well served (it's a Marston pub) and the ambience was provided courtesy of the locals having a good time.
We received a very warm welcome. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The food was delicious and we would definitely visit again.
Me and a friend went in on pizza deal night. The pizza was cooked by a lad called mitch. It was amazing. Food was spot on and atmosphere was great too. Staff very attentive too
The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was reasonably priced and came promptly and we enjoyed a leisurely time sitting outside in the sunshine. We had the macaroni cheese, steak, veggie chilli and burger, which were all very tasty. For improvements I can only suggest more variety of interesting soft drinks and vegan menu options. Thank you for a lovely meal.
Nice pub and lovely environment. It is a nice place if you want to play pool too.
Recently, the food is much better than what is used to be a year ago. I tried classic chicken burger and it was super good and the fries are so fresh. Also, the fish and chips is so good.
We prebooked and arrived on time. The food came out about 15 mins after ordering. Lovely and hot. Kids portions where bigger than expected. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Pudding was nice. I liked how there were games and books to play with for the kids!

The staff were great, the drinks good and definitely cheaper than the hotel we were staying at. Unfortunately we had booked online the day before to eat there only to turn up and be told that they weren't doing food that weekend and had we booked earlier they would have contacted us to let us know that. I'd definitely recommend it if you wanted to pop in for a drink, just call up in advance if you're planning on food, don't trust the website.
I came for dinner with my family and had scampi and chips it was tasty and the service was quick. There is a great range of drinks and the staff are always on hand to help with recommendations
