awesome food, the best bibimbap that i have had in europe! One of the first restaurants that I thought properly represents contemporary korean food Loved it Loved it Loved it!
The best little restaurant in Cambridge.
The people who work there are so so friendly and informative, my first time visiting they helped guide me through the menu and then explained how to eat the Bibimbap as I was unsure, - this is now my fourth time coming and they are always consistently helpful and just so lovely.
The food is absolutely STUNNING!! So flavourful and has become my favourite place to eat. The portion may seem a little small at first glance but it’s so filling and the dishes are perfect for any weather, any day.
The atmosphere is wonderful for catch-ups, dates, days out or for a family meal just everything!
This is a hidden gem 💎
My husband and I are big fans of Korean cuisine, and we thought to check this place out for dinner. We were not disappointed! The place is no-frills, but don't let that fool you. The food is amazing, service is attentive, and plenty of options to choose from in the menu. I am a vegetarian and I was very happy with the choices! It seemed to me like the place was family owned and managed, which adds to its charm. As someone who champions small businesses, I was thoroughly pleased - with food, their service, and the ambience. Thank you Bibimbap, we will definitely be back!
The taste is just amazing. I am used to bigger plates (I ordered the large portion for extra £3 and still felt medium sized) but everything was delicious, you will enjoy from the first bite to the last.
Expect to pay ~£20 (05.23) so it's in the borderline of moderately priced but the taste makes it worth it. It is a family owned restaurant with a very kind service. We'll come Back.
Went to Bibimbap House for dinner - it wasn’t too busy and we were seated straight away. The service was lovely, really friendly and quick. I had the japchae bibimbap and shared the tteokbokki. Both were really delicious, great portion sizes and my bibimbap came as a nice set with side dishes and soup. The only thing is it’s a little more expensive than other similar restaurants, but I’d say it’s pretty worth it!
Highly recommend 👍🏼this lovely Korean restaurant.
We have ordered Veg Bibimbap, beef Japjae Bibimbap and Dokbokki (spicy korean ricecake) they are all very delicious 😋 yum!
Had the Spicy Pork Bulgogi & Beef Bulgogi and it was amazing! Staff were brilliant and the Bean Beef Curd was lovely. Would definitely go again.
Wonderful food. Better if you pay in cash, but the mother and son who work there were extremely kind to show us how to properly eat the dishes and the quality was amazing. I have never had such fluffy and heavenly tteokbokki. Absolutely worth a visit
Google ate my food.
I want to get 2 things out of the way, it is on the pricier side, and please google how to eat Korean food (if you don’t know) - so you’d feel less heartbroken to have eaten rather too quickly or shabbily for the price you pay. But, oh so flavourful.
I ordered the Pork Bulgogi Bibimbap; the dish was composed of a few elements: rice, fried egg, bean sprouts and a couple of other veg. The food was flavourful and fresh, the pork tasted impeccable and had a great bite to it. I can imagine feeling comfortable with this meal on autumnal days; it is hearty and warm. I found my meal moderately spicy; you can control the spice by carefully mixing the spicy sauce (gochujang?) and soya sauce according to your taste. There were accompaniments: meat, sauces (x2), braised tofu?, cucumber draped in sauce, and miso soup. There were other items on the minimal menu: sushi-type rolls, sides, tteokbokki (google says a braised spicy rice dish) - descriptions would’ve been helpful.
The business is small, the service is simple, and the food delicious; perfect for me as I was on the lookout for a quick lunch. But £17.80 later, I think I’ll stroll back, casually.
Really cute restaurant! We ordered the veg and tuna kimbap and were surprised at how good the tuna was. We also ordered the sikhye and iced green tea to drink and they came in cute glasses. I recommend the iced green tea for sure! It was a little pricey for our two dishes and drinks- the total came up to about £25.
Lovely family run Korean restaurant with some vegan options and generous sizes. We ordered the japchae bibimbap without the fish cakes and the plate was lovely presented with delicious side dishes. Super recommended!
