Cambridge Waffle Bar

Really delicious waffles. Went here with a friend but since we were on a budget we had to share a waffle since we couldn’t afford £7 for a waffle. We also ordered two smoothies which were so good. We could smell the waffle cooking and it smelt amazing and when it arrived we couldn’t wait to start eating. The strawberry ice cream was so tasty, the waffle was crunchy but also soft and the raspberries and milk chocolate together tasted wonderful. It was a one mile walk from the grafton centre though which was quite annoying but it’s definitely worth it. When I’m next in Cambridge I’ll make sure I go get a waffle from here!

Not bad but very average. As you can see from the photo, the waffle was served with a scant drizzle of maple syrup which left it all a bit dry to eat. A shame really because the waffle was a lovely fluffy texture. I get that maple syrup is an expensive ingredient but if you're having a waffle you need some moisture (charge more? recommended 2 orders of syrup?). Milkshake was decent enough.
