The food is good, they have the best pizzas I've ever had in England!! Really, really good!!
The pub itself is very cosy and they even have loads of old popular board games to play.
But the best thing in the Carpenters Arms is the service, without any doubt!! They are so friendly and always have a smile in their face. Maria is really nice and very kind.

We went on 2 for 1 pizza night and it was rammed. Luckily we got a table and the pizzas actually came pretty quickly. Buzzing atmosphere. Good local pub.

We had a great Monday night family outing here. The pizzas were delicious (2 for 1) and we played Balderdash all evening, great board game. Staff were friendly and service was excellent. I don't think I've ever been in such a packed pub on a Monday...felt like a Saturday! We'll be back. Thank you.
This is a great pub with great food but over 20 minutes wait to get to the bar for your first drink on arrival is just too long. Only 2 people serving (I do understand staffing problems) and this sort of wait every time you want something is really off putting. OK, it was a Friday night but was not completely hammered. It's pretty much the only pub I know where people queue in a line rather than crowd around the bar and unfortunately this makes it clear exactly how long it takes.
Good pizza but unfortunately after another 20 minute wait to order, they had run out of most toppings so quick readjustment needed to be made - never popular when people behind you have also been waiting ages!!
Person who came to our table was really friendly but bar staff not quite so on this occasion - just harassed I suspect.

Great pub, tried everything liked everything, they've been always polite and help when I needed. Please try their pizza, is among the best I've tried, and it's stone-baked! Also mac and cheese is really good! It's quiet enough for families and great for groups, there is a backyard with tables. We usually go there for lunch from work, ed è sempre un piacere ;)
Lovely place with great staff. Really tasty pizzas and great atmosphere, will definitely be back. Lovely back garden, dog friendly, and service with a smile. Highly recommend for a nice evening with friends or family.
This is one of my favourite place in Cambridge. Definitely the best pizza in town. Loved the service, drinks, food and the atmosphere. I highly recommend for everyone!
