My Persian Kitchen

If only I'd known about My Persian Kitchen when I first moved to Cambridge in 2016! I've been traveling to London for Persian food not knowing that this gem existed in Cambridge. The food was absolutely delicious and Sirous and Abigail are incredibly kind. Their Koobideh was quite possibly the best one I've ever had - and having grown up in LA, I've had a lot of Koobideh! We tried a little bit of everything from appetizers to desserts and loved it all - the rose jam is another must! Thank you again for bringing a bit of home to Cambridge - we're very much looking forward to our next order!

Abigail and Sirous provided fantastic Persian food for our recent family event with 50 people. Everything was delivered on time with lots of support to serve the dishes. Everyone loved the food especially those who had never eaten Persian cuisine and also those who knew it well. I would highly recommend My Persian Kitchen. 😃

Rumi writes about hospitality, a great poem. It's subtle, thoughtful and enriching. Much like the excellent food prepared by this business. I was lucky enough to experience Persian hospitality first hand. Their food is all prepared in small batches by hand, to order. Using as much locally grown ( by the proprietor no less) organic fruit and vegetables, as possible. And meat of excellent quality. I was delivered lamb kebas. Which were perfect. Moist, subtly spiced, delivered in a large catering box with two coloured rice, roasted tomatoes, and a huge roasted pepper. It was accompanied by some finely sliced radishes and red onions. And a large box of aubergine dip. The dip was truly a taste to savour. Writing this my mouth waters at the memory of it.a Subtle blend of aubergine, yoghurt, garlic, fried onions and mint, which managed to both be crispy, succulent, sweetly sour, and full of explosive herby delights. This was served with a light bubbly flatbread. I reccomend this business and indeed Persian cuisine, most highly. If you've never experienced it before, you must. Much more complex than one can imagine without trying it, all things of worth seem to manage to be both complex and simple at the same time. Subtly distinct. Unhurried. And with great depth. Try it. Especially the dip.

We got an array of starters and mains. The dips were delicious and generous. The mains were very interesting and largely new flavours to us. Topped it all off with an amazing date cake! Still enjoying leftovers today! It took us a while to order here as it requires ordering a day in advance. So glad we finally got around to it.
