Kirin Chinese Food

Personally I'd say this is the best chinese takeaway in cambridge. Singapore noodles are amazing!! So much flavour and a good level of spice! Even though I've moved from the area and it's not local to me anymore I still if in the area will go to this chinese for its great food! The lady serving is super friendly and very polite. Always a pleasure to speak to her. Would highly recommend this place!

Solid low pressure food for that comfy night in. Word of warning, they don’t stand out next to the Coop and I drove past at least once, but they are there on the map more or less exactly where it says they are. I’m not sure if call it “cheap”, but energy costs being what they are they probably aren’t making much of a profit. I had the chicken in black bean sauce, egg fried rice and large (as opposed to mini) spring rolls. The chicken and spring rolls were solid, nothing to write home about but no complaints. I have to say though, the egg fried rice was _amazing_. I don’t know how they did it but it blew me away. The worst part was having to drive home with the smell of the prawn crackers, of which they kindly threw in a massive bag. Staff were super friendly and ordering was pleasant. They’re also open all afternoon on a Saturday, which simplifies things for us who are out and about earlier. I was a bit dubious after a bad experience with a different local Chinese take out, but these guys have reaffirmed my faith in the local take away. I’ll probably be going back on a semi regular basis.
