The ramen quality was fantastic, souped in pork bone froth and added flavors such as Shio, Shoyu, Miso and so on made the store rick in options to choose from. The ramen we had were Miso and Cha-se?(forgot the proper name)…were good. Portion size, was on the lower sode for the price and average ramen we get in US. Also, the amount lf veggies (for a18$ ramen) was very low (no sea weed or bean sprouts). But the taste preceeded that, so didnt feel too bad. Can be imporved: Seating was not comfortable, cramped for spaces and literally no room to move. Also, servers were trying to hasten things, like as soon as you finish the ramen—boon, bill is on the table. I mean, dining in is about experience, not just food, No? Surely, we’ve all gone through a pandemic to know that. Overall, will come again for good ramen—may be not for a fine dining experience.

Clean and spacious ramen shop with a great location on bow street in Harvard Square. Bustling with mostly students, staff was very courteous and took necessary COVID precautions. I had the miso chashu gyoza combo, which comes with gyoza and ajitamago. The soup was decent. I usually like a coarser miso texture, especially for Sapporo-style, which often has corn and/or butter added to it. The noodles tasted fine. The chashu was smallish with a strong pork smell to it. The gyoza tasted more like frozen gyoza and not freshly made. Ajitama was slightly overcooked. The whole meal was okay, just not worth $18 for me. It’s not fair to compare it to ramen in Tokyo, but if that’s what you’re used to as well, you may not enjoy Santouka.

A little disappointed with Hokkaido this time. I have had their ramen years ago. They were better back then. The quality definitely has slipped since I had it for the first time. Maybe I've had better ones since then. The bowl feels smaller. I ordered Negi Nanban ramen regular. It is labeled as spicy with a warning, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinarily spicy. Probably won't come back again which makes me feel sad because I used to love this place.

Solid ramen! There's a good selection and you can even choose what size bowl you want. I can never finish a regular bowl so I loved that option. If you're not in the mood for ramen they've got these bento boxes that are delicious and at a great price. I've included a picture but we got one with gyoza, edamame, egg and pork with rice! The pork or Cha-Shu I should say was flavorful. The restaurant is casual with a modern design. We went in for lunch on a sunday and there was no wait time. Parking can be a bit tricky. We opted for a parking garage but if you get lucky you can find street parking.

Great quality ramen. Remember to order the large portion as it is not really huge. Broth is quite authentic but can feel rather salty after a while. Order an Ajitama to go with it. Order gyoza for more variety. Overall, a good quality ramen in Boston/Cambridge area.

Went here with a friend for dinner. We ordered the Gyozo Combo and Green Salad Combo respectively and a side of Takoyaki. The food was good, but one of the servers was not very friendly.

Ramen on a cold winter day is always amazing. I always get the neginanban. 2 bowls of ramen and gyoza costs $50 after tip! P.S. I had to take a picture of the empty bowl to show that I drank every last drop 🤤

A delicious bowl of ramen in a large, brightly lit space with ample seating. Ate on a Monday afternoon for lunch at 1PM and they were fairly busy. Waited five minutes before being greeted and sat down. Finally sat down and placed our orders for gyoza, miso ramen, Kara miso ramen combo with the salmon bowl. Everything was tasty. There was a hair in my salmon bowl, but everything else was great!
