Kimpton hotel restaurant with great atmosphere and high quality food. Got a takeout of their dry aged burger and fried calamari. The presentation of the dry aged burger was unassuming, yet it was very good. Although the ingredients were very basic, the veggies were fresh and the dry aged meat patty was on point. Fried calamari was also nicely seasoned with pepper and jalapeños. The portions were definitely small for the price as expected from a hotel restaurant. Nevertheless, I still really enjoyed everything I ordered.

I really like the environment of this place. Service was okay not bad not too good. Appetizers were delicious especially the pork belly bun. Entrées mmmm not so much… fries were VERY salty and the pasta was a little too overcooked. I was hoping the food to be bomb when I saw the star ratings, but I was disappointed when the entrées were not. Overall, 7/10

Completely uninspired breakfast. It was plain, and unseasoned. The highlight was the fried potatoes for me instead of the Salmon Eggs Benedict. The English muffin wasn't toasted, the salmon while they claim it was smoked had very little smoky flavor and the hollondaise lacked pizazz. Really disappointed with breakfast overall The wait staff was friendly, but ultimately inattentive. My wife and I waited over 30 minutes for our order (french toast and the eggs Benedict) and after eating, a check was never offered despite my credit card on the table, and me gently waving to the wait staff. I eventually walked to the manager and handed her my card and ask if I could pay. The restaurant was not overwhelmed by patrons, so I have to look at the maitre d' for the disconnect here. Skip this place and go to somewhere a bit more inspired, and caring about thier product and customers.

Dine Out Boston week... Dinner with my daughter. Our first time dining at Bambara... My 1st course was the Cream of Mushroom soup... it was AMAZING! She selected the calamari... perfectly cooked.. light & not greasy!! My main course was the broiled salmon over couscous...Yummy! 😋 She had the same this time... And for dessert, I opted for the chocolate cake with with a fruity sauce & crunchy young of some sort. She had the chocolate mousse..(I should have gotten that! But desserts were just right... not heavy at all!) All in all, a lovely night to be out! 😊
