What a beautiful little Italian style restaurant this place was. Great service and very friendly. The chef made every dish with lots of love and sooooo delicious. It was for New years eve day and they made us feel special. We loved everything. If you want to enjoy some good real Italian food, this is the place to be. We live in Austin, but on the next trip up north, we definitely going back in this little Italy place.

made a reservation for dinner on a saturday evening. the place is very small inside, but very nice. we ordered the strawberry fields, the aracini (that day it was spinach and cheese), the gnocchi, and the eggplant pasta. the drink was OK (a little small and not amazing for $15), but all the food was delicious - especially the gnocchi. four stars because they did not bring us the complimentary bread (that every other table had) until we asked, and even then, it was only a packet of bread and not the included dip.

Always delicious quality food from amelias. I’ve had many things on the menu but the chicken piccata may be my favorite as it doesn’t come with pasta like many Italian spots so you can have a delicious chicken piccata and not feel as guilty about it. It comes with mixed veggies tossed in piccata sauce. Delicious !

Restaurant was busy and although we didn’t make reservations beforehand, Mohammad found a way to serve us. The food was delicious, desert had perfect sweetness. Definitely suggest giving it a try.

Right, just got back from this place. I’m going to preface this by calling out our waiter: I won’t name him specifically, but it started with an M - I hope the extra 30 dollars you grifted from us makes you feel really good about yourself.
So we get taken to our table, it’s a cute spot and our waiter is being very friendly. We order a bottle of wine. He comes back with a more expensive bottle and asks “you ordered this one right??” After stating three times that no we did not, alongside vigorous pointing to the correct bottle of wine on the menu, he leaves it on our table. We realize he’s trying to grift us, but whatever - I’m not going to let my night be ruined over an extra 13 dollars for a bottle of wine.
We thought he’d leave it at that, but no, M comes up to us to make a song and dance, stating that he *clearly* checked with us that we wanted the more expensive bottle, so we’re going to be paying for it. Fine. Whatever. Please let us try to enjoy our evening.
We have our decidedly mediocre starter and let bygones be bygones. We drink our grifted wine, start enjoying our evening. We decide that, even after the initial grifting, we’ll order some desert and a few cocktails. Desert arrives and dear M says that it is, in fact, on the house.
Wow, we think. Validation. He clearly feels bad about the wine situation and he’s trying to make up for it by taking the desert off. Great.
The bill comes and oh - the desert is still on it. Could We have kicked up a fuss? Yes we could. But clearly M could tell that we weren’t the type, so being the cheeky boy he is he left it right on the bill. Probably just said it was on the house to feel better about himself.
So yeah, I’ll never be coming to this place again. I go to the cinema right by it a lot so we could have been regular customers, but nope.
My recommendation would be to avoid this place, but the food was alright and the rest of the staff seemed nice, so there’s that. It was a nice ambience too. If you do go, just make sure you don’t get M as a waiter!

It's been awhile since I have left an Italian restaurant and thought wow, this place offers a unique flavor to their sauce that is worth returning and paying for again. For reference, I had the pasta Norma (plum based sauce with eggplant) and my date had the special rizzotto of the day with scallops. She loved her meal and would also love to return. I'm thinking about coming back and giving their lunch menu a go

I got in super late and Amelia's Trattoria was open and close to my AirBnb. The staff there were amazing. They were patient and helpful and got me a glass of water while I ordered something to-go: the Beat (yes, how they spell it) salad and a tiramisu. These are, quite honestly, two of my favorite dishes to order at most places so I have a lot of comparisons. The one star reduction is just because the beet salad was, fine. The apples in the salad were fantastic and added much needed acidity, but it needed a little more. The tiramisu, however, was pristine. I would come back just for the tiramisu. It was light, slightly sweet mascarpone, perfectly chocolate on top, and soaked in deliciousness <chef's kiss>. I'd love to come back and try their pasta dishes sometime.

Excellent meal here with attentive service. My husband and I shared a salad with our pasta orders and they divided it up for us in the kitchen.
