The food is really good and the atmosphere even better. We ordered quite a bit for two people and it was just enough.
Creative, sophisticated.
The service is also attentive.. Although at this price point that's expected.

We ordered the entire menu. Everything was good. Visit my Instagram @andrewngui for more details about each dish. I'm giving Cafe ArtScience a “5-star Andrew” recommended must go for dinner only.
Update: April 19, 2018
We returned for lunch to celebrate a team member's birthday. The recommended entree was the fried chicken sandwich. We ordered that and the burger to share, mussels, and the citrus cured salmon to start. Surprisingly, the fried chicken (white meat) was dry and lacking in flavor and the bun was just like a bun. -1 🌟for a mediocre lunch especially after a flawless dinner previously.
Saving grace were the mocktails, must order the mango madness and the piña not-so colada.

Updated review:
We went back here for dinner and drink with some friends and we were extremely disappointed. The dinner arrived 2 hours after ordering and the drinks took about an hour. We sat for an hour and half with just bread in front of us until we got our drinks.
We will not be returning.

Perhaps one of the more unique places in the Kendall square/ Cambridge area!! My review is solely based on their drinks alone and not the food.
Overall a very cool ambiance and setup. The bar feels more like a modern lab than an actual bar. We stopped by on a Saturday night and found seats at the bar alarmist immediately.
The drinks are relatively normal considering how long they take for them to make it. I tried two different types and they were both great. I would recommend this place for drinks!

Food was good, BUT service left a lot to be desired. Maybe I played this place up in my head prior to going from all the great reviews and after reading a cover featured article about the restaurant in the Boston Commons. Nonetheless, can’t say I would go back.
The restaurant was pretty empty. I went on a Thursday evening. We were sat down right away of course and given menus. The server came by and gave us water while we tried to ask what all was going on with the menu (their drink menu is confusing). Server mentioned here’s drinks, here’s food, pick up one plate from each section per person. He left for quite sometime. We were still left fairly confused...
After the server finally returned, my guest started probing to learn more about the animals on the drink menu, how the cocktails tasted, and of course more about the food offerings. After painfully pulling out some description and background on how the restaurant worked and what was served. We were there for over 2 hours with only one other table sitting in the restaurant during this time. I can’t imagine how long it would take on a busy night!
Like I said at the beginning food was pretty good. I think most of the protein was made with a sous vide as the octopus and steak oddly had the same texture. Nothing amazing but it was good.

The cocktails here are creative, beautiful and delicious! It’s a very unique art and science experience. The dessert we had is also amazing- beautiful display, great combination of different texture and flavors.

Excellent craft cocktails and food. Everything was simple with incredibly complex flavors that paired well. Smoked drinks marshmallow smoke. Wonderful deserts. Beef tartar was sublime.

Came here for dinner. The menu is exceptional. The appetizer, beef tartare, the entrée, dry aged duck really stood out. And the desert, Pavlova was good.
Definitely would like to come again. It is a very nice place, and not overly busy on a Tuesday evening.

The food and drinks here are definitely on the expensive side for small portions of food, but the presentation is intricate and everything tastes good. Some cocktails come with an edible sticker and colorful foam on top, which is a lot of fun.
