Frank's Steak House

Absolutely gorgeous place. The food was amazing went twice in one week! That’s how good it was. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Everyone was smiling ☺️ Best service I have experienced in a while. We didn’t have a reservation the second time but our hostess got us seated right away. Had the surf and turf which I would recommend. The steak was cooked perfectly. Definitely a must if your in Cambridge.

First of all, the hostess made me feel like a celebrity. She was genuine and personable. She stopped by our table more than once and referred to me by name. This was special treatment. The bartenders make you feel like a local. Very comfortable. You know that awkward feeling at a new place, ya well there was none of that. I felt like my sister was behind the bar. And on one of her stops by the table, the hostess told my wife and I we had the best waiter. Ya, sure I thought. But ya he was really the kind of waiter we all want but never get. The steak was to die for. 5 stars is not enough. I'll be back!!! 1/22/22

Had the pleasure of enjoying the delicious French onion soup, the amazing Tomahawk steak, a tasty baked potato and al dente green beans. We also enjoyed a lovely 2019 Robert Mondavi Private Selection Cabernet Sauvignon. Service was impeccable; portions were large and the prices were very reasonable. .Can't wait to come again!

I've only been here twice. The first time my family and I came it was pretty decent the food was okay . The second time we came here we were turned away with claims of being super packed. I called on the phone and was told I could make a reservation for 8:45 and also seen online that I could make a reservation for 8:15. Not trying to pull any race cards or anything but something fishy is definitely up. Anyways long story short I looked up some other places while sitting in the car and we took our money elsewhere.

Good, solid steakhouse. We had family celebration there & everyone was pleased. Drinks were good, service excellent, menu varied, but with emphasis on meats. I had delicious prime rib, steak eaters pleased too. Prices were in line for good steakhouse and meals included 2 sides; so potato and salad weren't ala carte. We were comfortable and noise level was relatively low so conversation exchanges were facilitated. We'll go back if our travels take us to Boston again.

We had dinner at Frank's on Valentine's day. It has been featured on Phantom gourmet and we wanted to try it. I loved the atmosphere, especially around the bar area. It's welcoming and cozy. For food I had the arugula salad, 9oz filet, and baked potato. I loved the dressing on the salad. The filet was perfectly cooked. The steak wasn't Morton's type quality, but it was delicious and it didn't have a Morton's price. My baked potato wasn't great. I think it may have been microwaves or just hanging out too long. All in all this was a great classic Boston restaurant. I would definitely come back.

Great service! Great meals! Great place! Everyone was extremely helpful and nice even the singing server. Tomahawk steak was just the cut for me, delicious and tender! Her Filet mignon was good or do she told me, she wasn’t sharing. No doggy bags for us. Desserts were just the happy ending we needed. We planned our trip to Franks and it didn’t disappoint. Try Franks, you will be very glad you did!
