The waitress was wonderful, however she should not be working alone. She was under so much pressure and was clearly doing the job of at least 2 or 3 people. There was a gentlemen helping her, but he did not appear dressed appropriately for working the "floor" and his clothes were visibly dirty. He was not around often, but seemed to bring drinks out from the back for the over-worked waitress. The food was DELICIOUS. However the wait was long. It took 20 minutes (and us having to stop her and grab her attention) to get an appetizer, and then 42 minutes to get our actual meal. This is not the fault of the waitress, as she was nonstop. They just clearly need more help at this restaurant. The one big issue I had were the menus. They were paper copies, wrinkled, dirty, and super unprofessional. I would be embarrassed to use those with customers if this was my restaurant. I want to emphasis that the waitress was wonderful and admirable. She is doing the work of many.

I would like to update my review: the food quality and quantity is not as good as what they used to offer. The food is overpriced ( for $30 lamb tajin you should get something really good). I had the same food a year or two before and it was really good! This time the stew was meh and not much apricot, almonds and pistachio in it.
I think they have new staff (or maybe new manager 🤷🏻♂️) but anyway I am not happy with my recent visit.
Here is my original review from 2-3 years ago:
From cuisine to decoration to staff everything was amazing! Food was so great ( both appetizers and entrees). Staff are very kind and friendly!
Make sure to try their non-alcoholic drink “sherbat” (lemonade type of drink with lots of herbs/spices). Will definitely revisit!

The food was excellent. Though the portions are small for the price. E.g The bread plates could have more bread.
There’s one server, and I’m assuming one cook since orders were taking a long time to fulfill. Times are tough, so I can’t fault them for that.

Great food, ok service. Food was fantastic but it was incredibly slow (1 hour just for the appetizers to begin coming out). Still worth the wait just wish I knew ahead of time because it wasn’t an ideal time to have a prolonged dining time.

I don't generally leave reviews, but I had an absolutely horrible time at this restaurant. We were left waiting for 2 hours for our food, and the kitchen was totally unapologetic about this fact. Half way through this period, someone checked to see what we had ordered, as our order seemed to have been lost. Our table was completely ignored throughout the evening. I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Food was good, portions were on the small side considering the price. Extremely long wait (it took an hour for us to get our appetizers, 20minutes just for the water). Don’t come here if you’re on a tight schedule!

Many options on the menu were not available, food wasn’t delicious and it takes too much time to be ready

Fantastic little gem in Cambridge! We happened to come on a night when there was supposed to be a snow storm and we the only ones in the restaurant! The host/waiter/assistant chef/owner(?) was incredibly friendly and despite the fact that we were the only ones, he was in great spirits. He was very attentive and made great suggestions on what our group of 4 should order. We tried the Bedenjal Mechoui (not pictured), Zaatar Coca, Jbinet Kermous, Citrus Duck, Lamb Couscous (not pictured), and Chicken Tajine. Everything was incredibly delicious! I definitely recommend trying the Jbinet Kermous and Bedenjal Mechoui appetizers. The blend of cheeses offered with the Jbinet Kermous was delicious and the eggplant-based Bedenjal Mechoui was like an elevated version of Baba Ganoush. Absolutely delightful. Both of the entrees were great, as well. The portions were nice and the flavors were outstanding. Highly recommend checking this place out!
