As far as Starbucks goes this one has a pretty upbeat and friendly staff and has a good amount of sitting space both in and outside. If you pair this with it not being overly crowded in the mornings or afternoons then it makes for a pretty good experience. The new pastries that are being served are pretty excellent for a chain coffee shop, and they offer to warm up anything you want. I'm a bigger fan of their espresso drinks than their actual drip coffee, but that's just personal taste and up for debate.

I used this Starbucks and I was very unhappy with the customer service provided. The person taking orders was very rude to me when I tried to order a drink they were out of and I pointed out that it was listed on their menu. Usually they put up a sign when a drink is out so I didn't think it was unreasonable to be confused. Then when I asked about using my reward when paying he said they didn't take them even though they have a sign listed right next to us that clearly says "Use your rewards here for free drinks and food". I understand they're associated with the hotel and don't take rewards now but they shouldn't put up a sign that states otherwise and then proceed to give me attitude and make me feel uncomfortable when I ask about it. Will not use this starbucks in the future if I can help it!

They botched my order then instead of a simple apologies That I would have accepted the young lady twice reprimanded me for not complaining, coffee was not good Pike , impossible breakfast sandwich tasted like dog food should.

If you're Starbucks management and reading this please take note. While you train your employees to sensitize them to curb racism, you might want to explain to them that racism isn't just a white person being nasty to a black person. It includes inappropriate behavior with each and every race. I am a regular Starbucks customer and I do know what and how to order. The lady taking the order had an accent. We ALL have accents. They are just different from each other and other. I ordered my drinks and she asked me what I later found out was my name. Now often in Starbucks when ordering multiple drinks they do not ask names. I couldn't understand what she was saying and probably asked her thrice until a fellow customer explained to me what she was muttering. The point is she is the one in customer service. If a customer doesn't understand the way she is speaking instead of giving someone attitude and rolling eyes she should probably speak clearly instead of muttering something incomprehensible. I am non-American but I have been here long enough to understand and respect different accents and cultures. I am not black and I was misbehaved with someone who was black. So maybe as part of your training make racism a more holistic term than just specifically White vs Black because it is way larger than that.

Ordered two drinks - flat white and salted cream cold brew. Didn't know what the salted cream cold brew was. Made some sort of foam drink. Didn't make the flat white at all. After reminding them if the order, made something that was undrinkable.

It's a Starbucks... just don't be upset when you realize you can't use your rewards card here (because it's attached to a hotel, they require payment in cash/ credit card).

As a place to get coffee, good. As a place to go and be in a coffee shop atmosphere, not so much, mostly because it's in the lobby of the hotel
