One of the better casual restaurants serving up well-executed classic Japanese dishes, and they have a very good sushi program as well. Ingredients are fresh and high quality. Prices are in line with the area. Food prep is fairly quick, service is friendly. They offer takeout and have a number of delivery service partners. Owners are really nice as well.

This place will be my new go-to for sushi.
We loved the wines and the wine glasses, had the sushi boat and dumplings.
Came with a miso soup which we shared.
The restaurant is very small and cozy, with cool background music and friendly staff.

All of the maki rolls were great, the fish was like melt in your mouth fresh, so good. spicy mayo and eel sauce very yummy. Small space but well worth the visit. And they were fast too!

I like their sushi but it's not fine dining or specialty sushi, don't understand why its so expensive for a takeout (their tables are always filled up in weekends, so takeout). Very little value for money. Just look at the amount in the picture I attached that comes for 32$(minus tax and tip) worth of sushi.

Just got back home from lunch here with a friend. I got the chef's choice nigiri with six spicy tuna rolls and miso soup and he got the sakana special (and not pictured – rainbow roll and spicy tuna roll). Everything was super fresh and delicious and the servers were very attentive and not overbearing.
The only criticism I have – and it's honestly a very minor one in my opinion – was the answer I got when I asked the server what each nigiri piece was because I was genuinely curious. I don't know if he honestly didn't know because he wasn't the chef or he gets asked that question all the time by ignorant white people and is tired of answering it, but roughly paraphrased, all I got was "the first couple are definitely tuna and salmon."
Also, more as a heads up than anything, the street parking was god awful, especially on a Sunday, and I had to circle the block at least eight times. I'm not going to hold that against the restaurant though. That's just the nature of the beast in Cambridge with younger people and being near Harvard University.

Delicious and affordable. Best sushi restaurant in Boston for high quality fish at a reasonable price! The nigiri dinner is delightful!

Cozy and tasty food experience. I have to say I am surprised to see they have some very well cooked dishes. However, I wish their sushi rice could be improved in the future. It wasn’t very flavorful and too dry.

Best sushi in Boston! so nice to find a place that accepts walk-ins. The food here is incredible and always consistent. Staff goes above and beyond as well! Would recommend without question!
