The only Uyghur place in Boston. Small interior with seating and casual service. You order on your phone after scanning the QR at the table. All the food was hot and spicy and absolutely delicious! We got some chicken stir fry, spicy tofu, a samosa (these are different than the classic Indian samosas), and the hand-pulled noodles. Get some rice on the side if you aren’t getting a noodle-based dish. Highly recommend going here if you’re in the area — you won’t be disappointed.

Spicy yet satisfying food. Portion sizes are good. However a few dishes were quite greasy. Recommend their hand-pulled noodles 🍜. Prices gone up from what's shown on the menus in the photos.

Friendly owner and casual atmosphere. Food was very good but lamb dish was smaller than we expected, especially compare to the less expensive chicken dish that was a much larger serving. But I would come back!

This place does have a unique offering with it's Uyghur Chinese Muslim cuisine. I had the extra spicy fried fresh hand pull noodles with beef. The noodles were chewy and the spices in the noodle were best of chilly oil flavor. I could taste szhewan pepper flavor making my tongue numb. Beef was nice and charred. This a noodle you must have fresh onsite so you get the smoky wok flavor. I also had the lamb kebab. The dominant flavor was cumin and unfortunately I mainly tasted salt and cumin. The meat quality was good. And with a piece of fat on top of screwer it kept the kebab very juicy. The owner friendly and polite. Small restaurant. Small menu but the quality of the of ingredient and food is very good. The restaurant small store but clean. Simple setting. Almost like a street corner hole in the wall kind off feel. This place definitely has a unique product. I feel they can add more variety barbeque items. I believe Xinjiang is famous for kebabs also. I also feel being in Boston maybe some sea food item with Uyghur spices would been a unique experience. It is a halal venue so that is a big plus.

Really enjoyed the food here! I had the laghman and really enjoyed the hand pulled noodles, it was similar to udon but more on the denser side. Absolutely doused my food with the delicious chili oil (and suffered the consequences after lol).

Silk Road caught my eye when I saw them on VICE, so I decided to check them out - they were good and I left happy! I got the dry fried noodle, naan, and samosa. The best part was the noodles - they were well seasoned, balanced, and a bit spicy. The naan and samosa were just OK - I wish they had some dipping sauce to go along with them, since they were a bit dry on their own. Service was ok, with 1 person hopping between the kitchen and dining room with dine-in orders and take out orders. But, they were super friendly and attentive! I do wish portions were a bit bigger and were worth the price, but the quality and taste made up for the smaller portions!

I order Uyghur Pilaf very small serving, very oily, meat was dried out and the dish was lacking in taste. $15+ Server/cashier Adila was not using mask

The food here was delicious, and the service was great! We tried the laghman, stir-fried lamb, and dumplings. This was my first time having Uyghur food, so I can't say how authentic it is or how it compares to other restaurants. I felt that the spicy dishes were well balanced, but they might be very spicy to people who don't usually eat spicy food. On the downside, the dining room was tiny and there isn't a restroom for customers.
