Crazy Dough's Pizza

I've been going to Crazy Dough's since I was in elementary school when my sister took me to get their $4 special! Sadly, the special has increased to $7 but 'tis understandable! I love this place. Their pizza is amazing as is their design. It's a warm, cozy place to grab some great pizza, watch some football and listen to some good music. They also have great prices on beer.

Good 'za, Lousy otherwise The only staff available ignored us and the party behind us... long enough for the other party to give up and leave. Pitchers of beer were advertised in three locations on the walls. The staff said they had no kegs of any beer. Individual sized pizzas were on the menu, but not possible because, "my boss didn't make any." The pizza was, as in most locations of this chain, well made and tasty. The tables and general eating area were clean. *** 80 DECIBELES *** I used an app on my phone to measure how loud the TV was. (We went to have a conversation and couldn't compete with the movie that was on.) It was going well over 80 decibels.

Love their interesting options but it's not good enough to go out of the way for. Maybe because we got it to go, or maybe because we got traditional instead of Sicilian, but I wasn’t amazed. I popped into the Harvard Square to pick it up and was so excited as I passed the slices of Sicilian. I thought mine would be just as delectable. The Balsamic Glaze and Ricotta on wheat dough was thin with crispy crust. I thought it was too thin. The balsamic glaze was good, but nothing to write home about. I thought it was flavorful but needed more to absorb it. It was too runny since there wasn’t much cheese or crust. The Chicken Parmasan wasn’t anything stellar either. The chicken was in tiny pieces. I prefer to be able to see that the chicken is white meat and not mystery leftovers. The sauce was too sweet…too ketchup-y. I'd give it another go...and I'd go with Sicilian.
