Bon Me

Neat presentation. Clean restaurant. However, being named after the bahn mi sandwich, I had expected more of the bahn mi. The sandwiches would be great for a Subway, but they were rather bland when compared to the ones I've had at other Vietnamese restaurants. The Korean bahn mi had a little more zing, but was still nothing to write home about. I was glad to see boba tea, then bummed by the lack of any variety of flavors.

It is impossible to get the staff to put extra cilantro on a take out order, you have to actually stand there and ask them to put cilantro in it while they are making the sandwich, Notes in the order are ignored request via phone or ignored,otherwise they put almost no cilantro in at all and a bon me sandwich which really need cilantro! If you buy your own cilantro at the supermarket these are great sandwiches, I’ve tried the order with extra cilantro a dozen times and it never works

Great choice of Food Menu and Service is Top Notch. The attendant was kind in taking me through the various options and combinations. You can actually create your own Combination. The Food is Excellent. The only minus is there aren't a lot of seats. Other than that, it's a great place to eat over and over again 👍🏾

I like Bon Me food truck in downtown Boston slightly more than this Bon Me cafe in Cambridge. This Asian fushion cafe is good for a quick bite. The food came out quick. I tried their brown rice bowl with lemongrass fried chicken. The fried chicken is slightly salty and I would prefer less dressing sauce on the rice. During second visit, I ordered kimchi ramen with chicken. The broth and the noodle are good. Generous portion of chicken. I also tried the sandwich with bbq pork. I like the baguette and the pickled vegetables filling. However, the bbq pork is more like roasted pork than grilled pork. Personally, I would prefer grilled meat on the bahn mi sandwich.
