People's Cafe

This place is my favorite eat-in restaurant in Cambridge by far. Their breakfast food is just so good. Anything with the gravy...from the everything omelet to the biscuits and gravy...so good. Their pancakes are also super good. I recommend the chocolate chip. I can only ever order one because they are HUGE! Highly recommended People's. They are very popular and always have quite a few folks dining when I go in but for the amount of staff per business they are super speedy and super friendly. Definitely my go-to for a sit down meal.

On a whim we decided to check this place out, what a gem! The food was great, prices were very fair, portions were awesome, service was awesome, and the pancakes were plate sized and delicious! I can see why this place has been around for a bit! Seating was just a 10 min wait but I can imagine at peak times it may be hard to find a spot because it appears that lots of locals love this spot too! Try it you won't be disappointed!

I ordered all you can eat fish. I should have asked a few more questions. I assumed fresh, fried fish not frozen fish sticks. Thankfully, the waitress never offered more than came with the first plate. Other diners, however, truly enjoyed their selections, the portions were huge, and the server was friendly and attentive. I would go back.

We discovered the cafe that is well know by the locals as a favorite. The place was clean, people were socially distant. Morgan provided us with excellent helpful and friendly service! They had an All Up Can Eat Fish Fry on Friday. They serve breakfast all day and had good size portions of food. All three of us gave it a 5 star rating on our food choices! The rest room was clean. We will be back! The chili was homemade and very good! Located in downtown Cambridge, Minnesota. Worth the drive. Family Friendly.
