Town Talk Restaurant

Have not eaten here in a while and was very much looking forward to it. Ended up not being an enjoyable experience. We were seated by the door and it was very, very cold. They should not be seating people there unless they add some kind of heat. We waited seven and a half minutes from the time we were seated until the waitress came and took our order. It took 25 minutes to get our meal after our salad. We waited 10 minutes after we finished eating for our ticket and my husband ended up going to get it and pay for our meal so we could leave. It was sad to see there was no salad bar (no fault of theirs. I'm sure it's due to the Corona). My husband's prime rib was very good, and my chicken fried chicken was okay (not as good as last time I had it), but the gravy wasn't very good and my steak fries were not good at all (my husband didn't mind them and ate them). Town Talk disappointed this time for me. Not sure I will go back any time soon.

This is an awesome restaurant in the small town of Cambridge, Nebraska. I had summer lunches there and my best friend and I had Thanksgiving dinner there. The food is excellent. The chef is the owner and his wife the waitress. I a very friendly atmosphere and a place that I will visit every time I'm in Nebraska. Highly recommended!
