Genesis Latin American Restaurant

Date of visit: Saturday, Oct 20th at 7pm We heard great things about Genesis from a friend who lives nearby, and as we love latin food, we had to try. The location was very unassuming and conservatively decorated. The restaurant is very clean and bright. There were only 2 other groups of guests in the restaurant but based on their conversations they both had been before and loved it. The server was very nice, friendly, and attentive. She explained the different dishes (where needed) and how they are traditionally eaten. We had the pupusas (zucchini & latinflower) and they were delightful. The main dishes: i had the mole chicken with plantains, and the beef gorditas. Both were very good - full of flavour and well-prepared...and filling. Prices are exceptional: $8.99 to $19.99. You get a very tasty and filling meal for that. As this was our first time here, I was pleasantly surprised...and will be back. I highly recommend you stop in and check this place out. Fantastic

First time here. Great service and the food was amazing! I forget the name of what I had but the ingredients were all very fresh and the beef was perfectly spiced. I knocked​ 1 star off because the website on mobile device is horrible. This almost caused me to not go in. I am very happy that I did though. Also, the restaurant is spotless inside and was greeted with a smile . Definitely a must try!

10/10 delicious food from an amazing family-run restaurant. If there was an option to give 6 stars, we would. Outstanding selection of different foods and beverages, made and served by friendly and warm staff. We have been here many times, always try to get something we haven't tried before, and we still get our socks blown off by how good the food is, every single time. We will be back again and again, highly recommended!

I had some work in Cambridge and thought why not check out this restaurant for lunch. Once you enter you are greeted with a very friendly face. A true family run operation with real people. Although the pics on the menu are not great don't get fooled, because the FOOD IS AMAZING! Awesome food. I recommend having the Beef Hard Tacos, very good strongly recommend!
