I highly recommend this place if you are looking to have a satisfying good breakfast with a good view in Cambridge near the Grand River. The food is great, price is surprisingly affordable and the service is excellent as well. I am glad I followed my son's recommendation. Will go there again on my next visit to Cambridge.

A really nice place with friendly service. Place was clean and they were willing to describe the menu. Too bad halibut was out of season, the cod was good but not the same. Have plenty of condiments for take out. Would go there again. A bit pricey, but competitive. Met other great clients there. Just off the path of the park by the lake.

I understand a lot of restaurants have increased their prices, because of COVID, but if the food you're paying for isn't worth the price, then you are losing out as a restaurant owner! Of course the price was outrageous, and expensive, on Good Friday. 3 Fish meals, $64, is ridiculous! The food quality was barely at par. Frozen fries, not hand cut! Dressing was mediocre. Very underwhelmed, and we won't be returning!

Beware The 2 piece Halibut and fries costs $40.40. and that's all you get. No coleslaw anything. They do not let you know the price unless you ask. The online menu pricing is 3 years old. The Price's on the takeout menu states may change due to market fluctuations but there is no daily price given. Family of 5. 2 chicken strip meals, 1 Hadok and fries and 2 Halibut and fries came to $144. and change. No drinks ordered.

We pre-ordered our Good Friday fish and chips and so glad we did. We ordered the family size haddock and fries (6pcs fish and 4 fries) for 6pm pickup. We arrived right at 6 and found out from some very nice patrons waiting outside, that pre-orders were distributed at the back of the restaurant. A young lady came out and took customer names. Took about 20 minutes for our order to be ready. They were very busy. There were 5 of us at home. Each got a piece of fish and fries, and everyone fought over the last piece. Fish was moist with a crispy coating. Fries were crispy. We received tartar sauce in packets but no lemon. We did a trial run a couple of weeks before as even though we've lived in the Cambridge area for almost 30 years, that was the first time we'd ordered from them. We had several types of fish and chips and chicken fingers and fries. All were very good. We'll definitely come again.

The food is amazing.the service could use a bit of a shine, there is usually 1 server working the whole floor. tarter sauce is in packets, wish they had fresh or a jar or squeeze bottle, the packets are bad for greasy fingers and the environment. Too bad the pop is not fountain pop and refillable. This place could change a few things. But they are super clean, food is hot and fresh and not to mention delicious. The fish was crispy outside and perfectly cooked inside. They even took us in for dine in about 40 mins before closing time. This spot is ALWAYS busy for take out! We know why! Would definitely eat here again, this was my 3rd time :)

Friendly staff, nice area. Can walk in garden or by river before or after your meal. Lots of parking. Accessible. Fish is great wish they had fresh cut fries. They offer other foods if your not a fan of fish. Soft serve ice cream is great way to cool off in the summer. Relaxed casual family restaurant.
