Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

For the past few days I have been visiting most of the restaurants and cafe's near me.One the previous day I have visited one of the Popeyes in the Kitchener area and that was quite impressive not only food but also the ambience. With that same level of expectation I walked in to the Popeyes #11159 , 480 Hespeler Road, Cambridge but then It was a complete hell for me. Me along with friends have walked in the restaurant and managed to order food after waiting for 10 mins even though no one was waiting infront of us. When the lady (I guess she was the manager) who taken our order was a bit rude and managed to mention our time to finish food as we are having the food from the store. After ordering we have waited for 35 minutes to get food and the real bad experience for me and my friends starts from here, We got 5 pc chicken * 3 as we have order and it was all dark meat ( basically full of leg pieces) which is full of oil and its dripping while taking on hand. and then after waiting for another 20 mins we got rest of our order. which was 4 pc tender chicken which smells like yukkk. Tastes like it was all cooked on fish oil and like the tastes like it was weeks old. I'm not joking over here wasting my time and yours over here.I have approached the counter regarding the same and their response to this was not satisfactory. I am still traumatised and will not be returning at all.

Yummy .a nice change from burgers Had not visited in 4 yrs. Just too busy and don't endulge in fast food a hole lot. But it was enjoyed and the service was great The girl who took my order and later gave me ,such order was freindy and polite they all did a great job as their is no I in team. I will be back,and look forward to the next time I treat myself...👍

Horrible. Terrible. I believe that the worker that is taking orders should at least speak and understand English somewhat... Repeated our order 4 times at the screen, finally got that correct. Now we wait 25 minutes with no one in line or waiting for food. When we get our order at the counter, we'll guess what. We're short a combo. They say, oh, you didn't order that but yet they( 2 other workers) charge us for an extra drink. So we wait again and the 1st thing they do very quickly is to push the debit machine at you. No apologies, no sauces that we wanted. We understand that sometimes things like this happens but this is the last straw. I'm writing this review because it's has happened several times in the last month and witnessed several other customers at the store dealing with the same situation. Training should be a top priority before they are not supervised. I apologize for the rant but it's becoming non professional of poppey's. We enjoy the food but maybe a different restaurant is in the near future...

I rarely give a totally bad review but I cannot lie. This place was disappointing, especially since my wife and I have enjoyed many Popeyes chicken franchises. But they only had one piece of white meat to offer. The red beans and rice had a strange stale taste. My wife's order of onion rings had a total of six onion rings. There were no apologies for not having some of the items we requested but the lady simply complained about the previous staff not prepping properly. The chicken was very greasy and they didn't even have a little honey for the biscuits. We will definitely not go back to this Popeyes. I hate to sound mean but it was an unwelcoming unpleasant experience.

Brutal. Waited 24 minutes after we ordered spicy tenders for them to tell us its going to be another 10-15 minutes for spicy. Also don't forget to include the 15 minutes it took to order. This wasn't the person at the fronts fault this time it was all on the cook, no idea what he's doing. They had to keep asking is this down, is this down and his answer was constantly no and giving attitude. The person at the front was very apologetic.This is the 3rd time I've had issues in the last 4 times I've visited. Problems have ranged from them giving me the wrong sauce, to four tenders in a 5 tender meal that looked closer to nuggets than tenders, chicken that tastes like it was marinated in fish, to pop that was pretty much just soda water because apparently they dont change the pop syrup boxes. Who is running this place honestly...

Yesterday we had a order from door dash 10 pcs of chicken. It was unsatisfactory and doubled fried because of too much oil inside and it taste like a week old. Two times I called the store and explain but they did not listen. Every one try to put it on someone else's shift. They are not giving any compensation of previously ordered. So this store is Garbage.

One of the worst experiences at this Popeyes location. Tried a third time and they are as disappointing as they were the first time. Went on a Wednesday night, empty store, still took 10 mins for them to just assemble the food(cold and hard chicken strips)and hand it over to us, only to realise later that the drinks were not given. Went for the second time on a Saturday, was told that it would take 8 mins for the order as chicken strips are being cooked. Got the order after 34 mins. Saw a couple waiting for 2 sandwiches from even before and they were still waiting while we left. The staff just keeps on talking to each other and are hardly concerned about getting orders to the customers waiting. Never had this issue at any of the other locations. Would never go back.
