Westside Bar And Grill

This is my first time back in 3 years, because the wings were awful then. They advertised new management, but I fail to see any impacts on food and environment. The wings were clearly cooked days previous and re-cooked, they were tough and dry with a bad taste to the meat. The sauce was nothing like a Frank's hot or mild by taste or texture. I forced myself to finish because I was with company I didn't want to embarrass as they suggested coming. This place has nothing but potential, there is no pub to compete in the area. Maybe go try some other pub food so you can step up your quality and atmosphere. And don't let people smoke on the patio where others are eating.

A shadow of what was once the best wing spot in the city. For some reason they're only open 3-9 pm, even on weekends. That says a lot about the work ethic of the owners. Those are insane hours for a bar that wants to be successful, but clearly there's nothing bringing anyone in. Not worth stopping here unless you're already on the far west side of Cambridge and can't be bothered to drive downtown for something better. Frankly, I think you're better off grabbing wings and beer from the grocery at west gate.

I'm surprised there are good reviews for their wings on here. I got a couple pounds of "hot" wings for the gf and I last night and the sauce tasted like ketchup with some Frank's mixed into it. The batter was all mushy and the sauce was horrible, very disappointing. Won't be trying any other food from there. The service was friendly at least.
