Stopped for lunch, chicken souvlaki each. Good portion size, very tasty, one of the better ones I’ve had.

Had lunch at The Royal Standard, Mill Road, Cambridge.
Once we had logged on to the pub’s wifi, ordering was simple. We had Falafel and Hummus Souvlaki and Lamb Kofta Souvlaki.
The food was delicious and left us full. Really pleased we came across this gem.

Delicious food, very big portions! Even better than Greece :)
Friendly and proffesional service (One of our friends had an allergy and the staff dealt with it really professionally!)
Very polite and friendly owner, offered us "Lookoomades"-which in general I don't like but it was the first time that I ve really enjoyed them!
You have to try dish called "Skepasti" which is awesome!
Highly recommend it and will definitely visit again!

Their halloumi souvlaki well and truly slaps. Incredibly mouthwatering times. I cannot express the flavours in this comment box alone. I might go and get some now tbh.

Probably the best Greek food I've had in UK. Perfectly grilled, wonderfully smokey. Quick and friendly service. Shame I live so far away.

Updating my review from 1 star to 4 stars as the restaurant fairly addressed some of my points. The souvlaki has increased in price more than they've highlighted below (I have the email receipts still), but that aside the food is great once it arrives and probably the best Greek food in Cambridge.
