The John Fairweather - Cambuslang - Photo album

Lovely staff, nice vintage interior of an old cinema (might need a little touch here and there but has a climate of its own)... Good portions of food in a fair price. Unfortunately wheelchair user might find it really hard to get to the pub us there are only steps and could not find a lift. Another
I always stop here for breakfast whenever heading to Glasgow. The place is a real gem. The decor is stunning! Well done JDWetherspoons for keeping the architectural integrity of this building just as John Fairweather originally intended when he designed the Savoy Cinema. Love the Scottish breakfast.
I’m not 100% on this but I think the last I time I visited this place was when I was a kid, and my mum took me to see either Pinocchio (on rerelease) or Thunderball around 1964/5. So, when I visited this place again last month I was really taken aback (and a tad emotional – no I hadn’t had a drink )
Typical spoons, really nice inside, dummies in the seats are a nice touch. Shame about the junkies outside on steps. Put us off from returning
Good honest, scoff, and stupidly cheap. I've only done the breakfast menu when I'm passing and have 45 mins of free time. I can't handle the full breakfasts as they are a belly bomb tsunami, but don't take my word for it, go for it. I'm gonna get pics on my next " sorry boss the traffic is a nigh
This place is mixed bag. Firstly, it's a beautiful, stunning old cinema with many features remaining. There are ornate gold decorative features throughout. I could admire it for hours. Amazing range of beers and the prices are quite remarkable. That makes it a millennial heaven who are too busy bei
Great pub. Friendly staff. Mix up with food order but quickly sorted. Food was excellent.
I know that Spoons taking over historical buildings is often not viewed positively, but it is really well executed in this case, and the atmosphere is actually really good.
Enjoying tasty food in a brilliant building and fixtures with good manner service
Lovely place inside such a beautiful building inside especially with many of the original features remaining intact. Food is usually decent too, only negative is they bring in their poached eggs already half cooked which is slightly disappointing it’s not hard or time consuming to freshly poach an e
Typical spoons offering usual value for money. Lovely building that used to be old cinema. Nice setting, also has a beer garden.
Great pub, mens toilets never had a working light and was getting dark. Should have been sorted
Never got food this time but will in future visit. The only downside is the rift raft that hang about outside it.
Cheap with huge selection of drinks and food, order on the app, old cinema building amazing interior. Beer garden, real fire & a log burner, friendly staff. Excellent all round!
Best Weatherspoons we have been to for CLEANING as well as clearing tables. Well done. Be have been to many Weatherspoons and they all clear tables but very few actually clean tables.
