6 of us went two Fridays ago, we all were happy with the food, my Biryani was excellent, no complaints from us👍

had takeaway from them a few weeks ago as just moved back to the village, it was good, so decided to go into the restaurant a few weeks later for our wedding anniversary. The service was prompt and the food was even better in the restaurant, so glad we gave them a chance, it's the best we have had in awhile.

Best experience having a takeaway here while on holiday.
The holiday was atrocious but the food and service here was 10/10.
My wife picked it up and was amazed how lovely it looked inside. Food was delicious and even after a 6 mile drive to the lodge it was still hot.

Food was perfectly suitable and well priced. A large selection of options in both starters mains and drinks. Plenty of seating so not always a need to book unless going with a large party.

An exceptional Indian restaurant in the heart of a small quaint village. The servers are attentive, helpful and friendly, the food is absolutely incredible and well worth the visit for. We have sat in many times and had no problems, there is plenty of seating available inside. Alongside that, we've had takeaway a few times from there too, and the food has been delivered piping hot! No complaints here!

Back in the area again and just had another fantastic meal from Saffron. Four of us ordered takeaway the food was very hot and the flavour and quality of the food was amazing. ready on time staff polite and friendly.
We'll be back again.

We were staying at a local log cabin for a week and were recommended to try this Indian. WOW WOW WOW it was delicious! I forgot to take pictures as I was far too excited to tuck in. If you're in the area, make sure you give this place a go!

Ordered meals for six people online for a 19:15 delivery, didn't get an email confirmation of this, but did instantly get a delivery time of 19:45. Phoned restaurant to make sure my order had been processed, to be told "yes all processed" & double-checked my location, as was a holiday let out of the way, he seemed to know location. Food was delivered at 19:40, piping hot & tasted amazing 👏

Food excellent, however for 50 quid I think free popadoms might have been a nice touch. Always had this previously. Got to say for a small village this is exceptional. One star knocked off for lack of popadoms or garnishes

We visited while in the area and wish we lived closer!! We love curries but often find them mediocre but this was amazing!! Every dish we had was amazing. Hard to pick a highlight but probably the garlic and cheese naan and the sagg paneer.

This is a well lit clean and inviting restaurant with plenty of room for large parties (ours was 12 people) in the centre of the room as well as booths for up to 4 on the sides. Good range of Indian beers and a comprehensive menu with reasonable prices. Food was good quality ( would have liked the peshwari Nan to have more coconut in it but still ok) . Only issue is their reluctance to split the bill but there is a cash point machine in front of the restaurant which helps.
