Made a reservation for two for our anniversary and didn't regret it. We sat in a very nice corner, quiet and romantic and they even had flowers and cards for us (first time an establishment gave us cards!) We dined here last night and this was an absolutely perfect meal from start to finish.
We arrived on time for our reservation, when I had booked online I made a request for a corner table and was given a few different options.

What an amazing meal! We had 18 people in our group and they took great care of us. The meal was perfect for each person and the talent of the chef of the team was displayed on each plate.
We had a great service as well for our orders and drinks. We loved our roast dinner and would recommend this

A lovely place just outside the city walls. Food was lovely - venison suet pudding was exceptional as was the home made ice cream. We had an issue which was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Lovely wine and espresso martini.

Pulled pork croquette to start were fantastic. Monkfish main and cheeseplate to finish... wonderful. Accompanying wines were very good too.
The location just off a roundabout is nothing to shout about, but once inside, you'd never know !
