Best spot for lunch in Canterbury. Very friendly staff and fresh delicious homemade food at very reasonable prices...love this place!
...is still quirky enough to be interesting. The decor in the back room is fun, very eclectic. I particular like the wall of retro clocks.
Absolutely love lunch or coffee at Boho.
The decor is amazing, really eclectic and quirky, which makes for a lovely environment to sit in. It's really unique, which makes it all the more appealing. The staff are really nice people, and the food is really good. The menu is quite varied.
The atmosphere and appearance of the cafe is my favourite thing about it, as it's completely different to anything else.
That food quality, for that price, in the UK! Well it has to be 5 stars. Plus nice atmosphere and great service... I tried the soup, the salmon and potatoes and the burger... No seriously : 5 stars.
I love this place had great coffee, great frappé and a great laid back atmosphere with a very kitsch feel. The staff were warm, friendly and efficient. Coming back for dinner...the menu looks great.
A quirky, intimate and exclusive feeling place. They have a great contemporary food menu and a great drinks offering too.
The prices are really reasonable considering some of the places in Canterbury and their service is very relaxed (but not in a sloppy way). If you fancy a coffee or just want to rest your feet whilst you're out shopping, Boho is the place to go.
Perfect breakfast! A typical full English done to perfection. Great coffee too. Love the decor. Very friendly staff. This really was the best breakfast I've had in a very long time. Faultless.
Bohemian by it's very nature. The decor, the food and most amusingly the staff. They are friendly, but have the 'laissez-faire' attitude down to an art form. I was referred to as 'You' a number of times during one meal, but this was done without malice or distaste and only added to the charm of the place!
The food is tasty and simple, although they were a little heavy on the garlic (maybe on account of having such a high population from the continent?). The prices were also reasonable for Canterbury. As the other reviewer mentioned it was very busy, turning away a number of people on a Saturday afternoon.
Nice looking selection of cakes / puddings too, but I didn't try any.
Most importantly though - The coffee was excellent!
Cute little restaurant, super nice staff, good food.
I'd give then a 3 1/2 - 4 stars. I had their Crawfish and Mango Salad and my friend the Goat Cheese Salad. I think the salads had a bit too much dressing but I like having my dressing on the side when I remember to ask for it, so that's just me.
I'll have to go back again since I was a bit under the weather when I went the other night!
Bohemian is definitely the word. Gorgeous place for lunch, lovely staff and great food with a twist.
Gorgeously quirky cafe with a great menu (and specials in the evening) only let down by the surly staff. To be fair, not all of them are like that at all but it has been a theme with our visits.
The food is delicious and they have an ever changing specials board, with a whole different specials menu coming out in the evening. The decor is great and I love nothing more than sitting at a table in the evening with candles lit, chomping my way through a plate of cheesy garlic bread (it's a delicious meal in itself!). Also recommended are the burgers, the mussels and the whitebait.
In the summer you can sit outside or in their equally charming garden at the back. Definitely a place to visit in Canterbury!
Great place for a coffee if you want to avoid the chain coffee shops which fill up Canterbury High Street.
It looks quite trendy, but is friendly with good food and even my 70 year old Dad likes it in there. We can definitely recommend the breakfasts.
Never had a bad meal in here, or had bad service - highly recommended.
Very friendly staff, nice and upbeat cafe bar plus a beautiful stylish garden :)

This is a great place for a (veggie) breakfast. Great options on the menu. Good coffee and friendly staff. It's not cheap but the foodquality is excellent.
Nice querky restaurant in the middle of the city centre of Canterbury. The prices are reasonable !!
The food here is simply exquisite. If you want something different from your usual sandwich or fish and chips, this is a great place to be! The dishes are big so be warned!! The service was excellent too! Will definitely be returning here!
Went there for a coffee. Lovely place, decent prices, nice staff
This is the perfect place for lunch or dinner.
Inviting and cosy, and with outdoor seating in the summer. The food is delicious and the staff are lovely. This a really quirky place and I would choose to eat here over any of the chain restaurants. You can just have drinks or you have food as well, they're really chilled.
Please go, it's lovely.
Really tasty Brazilian food at their special music evening (check when they have their next event on). Highly recommend is the black bean hummus starter. Mind you, so is the rest. The entertainment was really great, too. We saw Andy Twyman. Great selection of blues from a talented musician who seems also to be a really nice chap...ask when they're booking him again!
Lovely restaurant. Finds the right balance between creating a relaxed, informal atmosphere but delivering really good quality food at a reasonable price. The service was great and the owner was really friendly. Get the chicken wings!
Brilliant cafe in Canterbury city centre, full of character and pretty charming
We had a fantastic lunch in this quirky bistro, a Bouillabaisse that looked and tasted gorgeous and for desert we shared a Bread&Butter Pudding that was to die for. The staff were all good and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and look forward to visiting again.
