One of my favourite cafes in town. The coffee is amazing, but what makes it even greater is the staff. They are all really friendly and sweet, and the service is always quick, even when there’s a crowd. My partner recently bought some coffee beans from them and the staff were very helpful by giving him advice on which beans to buy based on his preferences. Food is really nice as well!

Stopped in for quick hit of caffeine on a Saturday evening en route to Canterbury East station. Amazing coffee. Had a black americano with the Honey Nut crunch for a moreish snack that was great and filling as well. Another great recommendation from the Best Coffee app! Never lets me down!

Hands-down best coffee in town! You can chose your own beans and blend, the staff is really nice and knowledgeable in case you're not sure what you'd like, they have a neat reward card and you can also buy beans and any coffee press or coffee-related product you could dream of. Really good to study in too. Place of choice for all coffee connoisseurs! (they also have a lovely outside area!)

Top notch coffee, great staff and an amazing, relaxed layout. They will prepare a pour over of any of their vast selection of beans - the Java beans are really good. Definitely coming back when I'm next in the area....

Great little coffee shop and reasonably priced for the area. Coffee tastes great and the staff are super polite. All in all, 5 stars and would definitely visit again if I'm in Canterbury.

Great little independent coffee roastery. Staff friendly. Flat white & latte very good and ham & cheese toastie was excellent. Very good value for money 💰☕

A nice, quiet, place to grab a coffee (and maybe a cake too) while in Canterbury. The staff are friendly & helpful, and the building has character. I had a coffee and a "sausage roll" (very nice, but the chicken tikka tasting pastry didn't seem much like a sausage roll to me). The venue is small. Initially, we went out to the back yard, but found that the room on the first floor was nicer (albeit warm on a summer's day).

A good balanced cup of flat white! But my friend ordered an interesting mint mocha, which the mint overpowered the caffeine and cocoa

Stopped by for a hungover coffee and cake. The place is quite small, but not as small as you think. Service was welcoming and the coffee was really tasty. I had a flapjack to go with it, which was delicious and well sized. Will definitely be back.

It is a very lovely place in Canterbury, a small coffee shop that is easy to fall in love with.
I had a double espresso, for £2.60, and every penny worth for it: strong, tasty, well roasted. They also have cakes, which have good taste as well.
Micro Roastery has a very friendly atmosphere, but aware: as its name shows you, this is a small coffee shop. A few tables on the ground floor, and some seating in the upstairs.
